The follow up to the 2001 release "Devil Rock Disco", Evilution was released June 24, 2003. The first single 'Right On' was sent to radio April 14, 2003, and took off up the charts, and it's only just gained momentum as the video is released to Muchmusic in early June 2003. For this latest effort, Shocore called in the talents of such Canadian Rockers as Hugh Dillon (appears on Fist Fight At Dawn), Holly McNarland (vocals on Good Talk), and Jed Simon (guitar on Skyjacker).

That's Shocore's first full-length album. Released in Canada on September 4, 2001 (and June 2002 in Europe), the album has done well and 2 singles were released from that record. The first single was the biggest hit, "Bonecracker" rose to the top of many charts across Canada (including several weeks on the top of Vancouver radio charts). The second single "Rudy" didn't enjoy the same amount of success but still proved to be a worthy single for the band. Videos were made for both the songs and again "Bonecracker" enjoyed quite a lot of play on MuchMusic.

Every year, local Vancouver radio station 99.3 The Fox, holds a contest to find some of the best up-and-coming local acts, in 2001, Shocore was chosen as one of those bands. The station took 4 of the bands songs and put it on a compilation cd with the other 4 bands that won the contest.
The cd was distributed to local record stores, but only a limited number were made. As always the cd was a huge hit and quickly sold out at all the stores.
